SUNDERLAND PAIR CHARGED BY POLICE

Sunderland footballers Nicklas Bendtner and Lee Cattermole have both been charged with the crime of vandalising the cars parked in the parking lot.

Nicklas Bendtner and Lee Cattermole have experienced the various degrees of mischief during their time at Sunderland. It remains to be seen if Sunderland manager Martin O’Neill will be willing to accept their latest demeanour.

Sunderland have been doing extremely well since the arrival of former Aston Villa manager Martin O’Neill. After taking less than a point a game on the Steve Bruce, Sunderland are now averaging 2.2 points per game under Martin O’Neill.

Despite this, there have been a few problems at Sunderland, though, they have disappeared under the radar due to the impressive performances of the team. One such incident is the problem involving Nicklas Bendtner and Lee Cattermole.

The two players have been charged criminally on account of damaging cars in the parking lot just outside Newcastle United’s home ground –Sports Direct Arena. It has been revealed that the two players could face up to 3 months of jail time and also a maximum fine of about £ 2500.

Even though the fine amount is unlikely to hurt the players earning around £ 60,000 per week, the three-month jail time could seriously hamper Sunderland’s progress, especially with Arsenal playing them twice in quick succession.

“It’s a good opportunity for us. They come up to our place twice and I am sure they will be fearing us as much as we fear them. It should be a good game, the one on Saturday, and hopefully we can keep on winning,” Sunderland youngster Colback said ahead of Sunderland’s first match with Arsenal this weekend. The Premier League betting odds online make Arsenal slim favourites, even though they are playing away from home.

Arsenal will be coming into this match with great confidence after having beaten Blackburn Rovers 7-1 in their last match. Robin van Persie scored a hat-trick in the match.
