SUNDERLAND PLOTTING LOAN MOVE FOR JEBBISON

Sunderland are plotting a move for highly rmated Sheffield United youngster Daniel Jebbison according to English publication Chronicle Live. It was revealed that the League One giants are interested in a loan move for the striker.

Jebbison became a Premier League sensation last season when he became the youngest player to score on their first start in the competition.

The 6ft3striker was born in Canada but he represents the junior Lions.

Sunderland boss Lee Johnson is in the transfer market for a new strikerafter Charlie Wyke left the club this month.

Johnsonis targeting more strength in depth in attack outside the starting XI. Ross Stewart and Will Grigg are the first choice strikers. Stewart and Grigg both scored in the recent friendly against Hull City.

Jebbison has been targeted by League One giants Sunderland in the quest to add depth to the attacking department. The Sheffield United player was in attendance at the Stadium of Light for the friendly game against Hull City.The Black Catsare keen to do a loan deal for the young striker as established earlier.

Sunderland assistant manager Jamie McAllister spoke about transfers amongst others shortly after the friendly clash with Hull City. According to him, club officials are aware that the squad needs strength in depth. McAllister further said that the coaches can only concentrate on the players at their disposal and getting them prepared for the start of the new League One season.

The Sunderland assistant manager said that the players have done well despite a tough preseason. He added that the new players have already adapted to the new style of play initiated by manager Johnson and his coaching staff. McAllister praised the young players and how they have been able to adapt to playing out of position in preseason.
